Rotary encoders for industrial automation

Incremental encoders
They generate pulses proportional to shaft movement and are suited to speed control, counting and positioning. Multiple PPR resolutions, diameters, shaft types and output circuits are available.
Absolute encoders
They provide a unique position value, including after power is removed. Singleturn and multiturn versions are available with SSI, parallel, analog and industrial Ethernet interfaces.
